Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to courses and services purchased from Career Elevation, a business of VBI Enterprises Pty Ltd (ABN 41 165 508 001) (“we”, “us”, “our”). It explains when you may be entitled to a refund and how to request one. Please read it together with our Terms and Conditions.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our courses come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and this policy operates in addition to those rights. As a Registered Training Organisation, we are also committed to fair and transparent treatment of fees and refunds.

Cooling-off period

If you change your mind after enrolling, you may request a full refund within 10 business days of your enrolment, provided you have not yet been granted access to the online course materials in the Student Portal. Once course materials have been accessed, the cooling-off refund no longer applies (see below).

Refunds before you access the course

If you withdraw before you have been granted access to the course materials, you may be entitled to a refund of fees paid, less a non-refundable administration fee of $250 to cover enrolment and processing costs.

Refunds after you access the course

Because our courses are delivered online and materials become available to you immediately, refunds are generally not available once you have been granted access to the course materials, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law or where we agree otherwise in special circumstances (see below). Where a refund is approved after access has been granted, it may be reduced to reflect the materials and services already provided.

Withdrawing from a course

To withdraw from a course, contact us in writing at admin@careerelevation.com.au. Your eligibility for a refund will be assessed based on the date we receive your request and whether you have accessed the course materials.

Payment plans

If you are paying by instalments, withdrawing does not automatically cancel your payment plan. Any fees owing for the portion of the course already provided remain payable. Please contact us to discuss your payment plan if you withdraw.

If we change or cancel a course

If we cancel a course, or are unable to provide a course you have paid for, you will be offered a place in the next available equivalent course or a full refund of the fees paid for that course, at your choice.

Special circumstances

We understand that serious or unforeseen circumstances (such as illness, injury or other significant hardship) can affect your ability to study. If this applies to you, contact us — we may, at our discretion, offer a refund, a credit, or a deferral of your enrolment. Supporting documentation may be requested.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, email admin@careerelevation.com.au with your full name, the course you enrolled in, and the reason for your request. We may need to verify your identity before processing a refund.

Processing refunds

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 14 business days of approval. We will let you know the outcome of your request in writing.
